I learned last week that Yahoo had fired 2000 people. These 2000 will add to the millions who are currently unemployed...
On that same day Yahoo shares increased, presumably because its shareholders believe that that the firings were good news...
Conundrum !!!
In this age of technology where machines and robots will do more and more, and humans do less and less, Capitalism is in direct conflict with the People.
Unless we can change the "ideals" of Capitalism where reward is gained by the ability to employ people, and not to maximize profit we are doomed...
